Battle for the Bay 2: Tampa comes to us
Thursday, 22 October 2026 · Kava Social Club, Bradenton

“Sunday 15 November, 7 PM, on our patio. Every board counts.”
Harold Gonzalez · Club director
It's official. ⚔️ Battle for the Bay 2 is Sunday 15 November at 7 PM, and this time Tampa Knights are crossing the bay to play on our patio.
Round one was theirs. We came home with a queen, a rookie's section and a National Master's scalp, and we have been training every week since. Round two is on our boards, under our lights. 🔥
The format: a Swiss-style team battle, club against club. Four sections, each split into sub-sections, and every win scores a point for your team. Individual prizes too: $100, $60, $40 and $30 across the four sections, a trophy for every section winner, and a Best Female Player trophy. 🏆
Every level is welcome, and every board counts the same, so you do not need to be strong to score for Kava. It's a 21+ night. Register at chess67.com/club/kava-social-chess-club and bring everyone. 👊
Kava Social, show up. Tampa, bring your best. ♟️
